Fantasy Island Beach Resort by Privilege Hotels is located on a private, 21 acres island off the south shore of Roatan island, 8 miles from Roatan Airport, 30 miles off the Northern coast of Honduras (840 miles from Miami and 990 miles from New Orleans).

Roatan is 30 miles long string beans-shaped and 4 miles width with tropical vegetation, white sand beaches and border with countless coconut trees. Its water is extremely crystalline, which let observe the movement of the different fish species between the multicolor seaweed.

The Island group consists of three large islands of Roatan, Guanaja and Utila, as well as a lot of smaller cays.

The Resort has 115 rooms, two private beaches, Cumbanchá Restaurant, bar facilities, wireless area, complimentary WiFi Internet available in all areas of Fantasy Island,  free service PC in the lobby, private marina, dive center, underwater photography, dive shop and souvenir, swimming pool, tennis courts, weddings and logistic for events.
The well stocked boutique offers snacks, liquor, soft drinks, sundries, hand crafted, jewelry, clothing and a variety of souvenirs.

Fantasy Island also features the Dolphin Room to held conferences, business meetings, conventions and others with capacity of up 120 persons.

Mahogany Bay
If your ship docks at Mahogany Bay you must arrange your own transportation to Fantasy Island. There are taxis inside and outside the terminal. When you arrive at Fantasy Island there is a $10/person USD entrance fee that must be paid at the Front Desk. You will receive a bracelet that allows you to use the pool, beach, kayaks and beach chairs. Snorkel gear (mask, snorkel, fins) can be rented at our dive shop for $5/person for 1 hour or $10/person for all day.

Certified divers who have a valid certification card can do a shore dive for $18/dive. A shore dive with full gear rental (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins) is $35/dive. You can pay in US Dollars but please be advised we have limited ability to make change so please bring small bills. Credit cards are accepted at the dive shop but not for the entrance fee.

If your ship docks at Coxen Hole please go to the Fantasy Island kiosk. When you get off the ship turn right at Diamonds International and look for our sign. We have three packages available:
 
Fantasy Island Beach Day Package
Cost: $29/person USD
Includes: transportation to the resort, return transportation to the cruise ship, use of the pool, beach, kayaks, beach chairs and snorkelling gear.
 
 
Shore Diving Package
Cost $40/person USD
Minimum: 2 people
Includes: transportation to the resort, return transportation to the cruise ship, single tank shore dive, weights, weight belt, air tank, BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, use of the pool, beach, kayaks, beach chairs
Additional Shore Dives: $35/dive including full gear

Discover Scuba Diving Package
Cost $79/person USD This is much less than what is listed on our web-site for guests
Includes: transportation to the resort, return transportation to the cruise ship, Discover Scuba Diving Program, dive gear, use of the pool, beach, kayaks, beach chairs
 
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater. If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
This 3 hour experience is the quickest way you can get to do a dive on our amazing reef. Get to know the fish all your friends have been talking about!
Prerequisite:
·         Must be at least 10 years old.
 
 
If your ship is not listed above under the Mahogany Bay Terminal you should be docking at Coxen Hole.
