Our wedding at Privilege Aluxes was absolutely amazing! Elba was fantastic and took care of everything which is a must for a destination wedding, especially since I was graduating college and planning a wedding at the same time. She made it possible for me to focus on my studies with a minimal amount of decisions. I left everything in her hands and it couldn't have turned out any more perfect. The hotel was fabulous and exceeded way beyond my expectations! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Isla is such a great island with a quiet and laid back feel but yet accommodating to the party animal guests that accompanied us. It was definitely the best week of our lives and all our family and friends enjoyed it as much if not more than we did! Thank you Elba for being so great! I highly recommend Privilege Aluxes for anybody's destination wedding. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

Married on November 6, 2010 at the beautiful Privilege Aluxes -

The decoration on the beach was absolutely fabulous!!! There was enough decor to create a simple, yet elegant atmosphere - I can't forget the aqua-blue ocean as the back drop! The bride and bridesmaids' bouquets were beautiful and exactly what I imagined! Juan was our officiant and he did a great job! The mariachi band La Diferencia was such a treat for our guests and for the general public that witnessed our celebration. My father-in-law could not resist the urge to sing along with the mariachis, and was having such a blast! A definite MUST to have this group play at your wedding! Our photographer (Chris Rothecker) had no problems finding beautiful photo shots on the beach and around the hotel. The reception was also well planned out. The decor, again, simple yet elegant! The reception was held at the Cafe del Mar and it seated 23 guests comfortably. The food was awesome, as always! They served a vegetarian meal to my vegetarian bridesmaid who thought the food was delicious! And the service - For the waiters and Captain, I cannot thank them enough for the amazing 10/10 service!!! Thank You!

Elba really went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Planning everything via email was easier than I had originally anticipated. Elba was very prompt in responding to my many questions via email. The great service continued once we arrived at the hotel and through the wedding day! All I had to do was get myself ready. Elba took care of of rest which really put me at ease. I gave her an idea that I had in mind for the decorations, and she did an outstanding job. I couldn't have been happier with how everything looked. The food was awesome as well. The entire staff at the hotel was wonderful our entire stay. They did everything they could to make sure everyone was happy and enjoying their stay. Thank you Elba and the rest of the Privilege staff for making the wedding, reception, and our stay so wonderful!

We got married at the Privilege on September 4th, 2010. Where to start? Everything was absolutely perfect, from the beautiful scenery to the romantic ceremony, and the reception afterward. Elba was absolutely fantastic – she really went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. She was present throughout the entire event, taking care of all the details so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. In addition, she really seemed to care about our wedding and took a personal interest in making our day personal and memorable. The restaurant staff was nothing short of impressive. The food was amazing, and the service was equivalent to what we would have expected at a 5 star restaurant. Our glasses were never empty, and the service was absolutely seamless.

We would like to thank everyone at Privilege Aluxes for making our wedding so special.  The planning was very stress-free thanks to our Elba, our wedding coordinator.  The ceremony was beautiful, the dinner was delicious, and the reception was so much fun!  The whole day was more perfect than I could have ever wished for.  My guests still keep talking about what a great time they had.  We cannot wait to go back!

As far as the testimonial goes we have nothing but wonderful things to say about the hotel and service!
Planning a destination wedding can be stressful but the prompt communication between Elba, the wedding coordinator and the reservations agent made things go very smoothly. Elba was very quick to answer our questions and utilize all our wedding preferences for the ceremony and for the reception through email. The reservations desk was quick to reserve the rooms for our guests and even made accomodations for last minute room changes.

Nuestra boda fue calificada como uno de los mejores eventos a de los que nuestros invitados han asistido. Tuvimos personas de diferentes partes del mundo y todos quedaron muy complacidos con la locación del evento. El privilege se encuentra muy bien ubicado en la Isla Mujeres, lo que hizo que nuestra boda tuviera uno de los escenarios más hermoso, dando un toque mágico a la ceremonia. Para nosotros fue un momento inolvidable el estar parados uno frente al otro uniendo miradas mientras nos acogía el resplandor del cielo y el azul del mar. Pese a que nuestro grupo de invitados fue mayor a 108 el staff se encargo de atender con la mejor calidad a cada uno de ellos. El chef preparo un banquete que deleito a todos los paladares y preparo el pastel de boda tal y como lo habíamos imaginado.
Estamos muy complacidos con la atención, amabilidad y compresión que tuvo todo el staff, desde los botones hasta los gerentes, todos nos hicieron sentir  muy bien recibidos y siempre estuvieron en la mejor disposición.
